Reiki for Animals
Whether puppies, rescues or older dogs, pets that act out often do so due to anxiety or depression caused by lack of socialization, insufficient exercise, inconsistent“pet parenting,” or past abuse. My skills as a Reiki practitioner can help resolve pet behavior issues. By helping a fearful or stressed animal regain a sense of calm, they are often able to focus on behavior correction methods.
I've also worked with animals who are sick or in the latter stages of their lives. Reiki's gentle, calming therapeutic benefit can bring peace and comfort to them.

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a Japanese technique for healing. It involves subtle energy forces designed to help the patient’s body heal from physical, mental and emotional ailments. Used on people as well as animals, Reiki is increasingly being adopted by hospitals, veterinary clinics and rehabilitation centers as a gentle and natural approach to stress reduction and wellness.
What happens in a Reiki Session?
During a Reiki session, I lay my hands over or above the animal and channel subtle energy into the animal’s body to cause it to relax. While Reiki experiences are unique, many report feeling a calm heat sensation, deep relaxation and general sense of wellbeing.
